BOSETU Reaffirms Its Commitment to Supporting Members Living With Disabilities

BOSETU Gender desk held its Annual Disability Forum at Majestic Five Hotel in Palapye on 21 November 2025. The forum was held under the theme “Amplifying Rights, Promoting Respect and Equality for People with Disabilities.” The event , organised by the BOSETU Gender Desk, brought together comrades living with disabilities and stakeholders working in the disability sector.

In his Presidential remarks, BOSETU President Cde Winston Radikolo reaffirmed BOSETU’s Commitment to supporting members living with Disabilities. He emphasised that the forum was “not a ceremonial event” but a working platform meant to shape the union’s disability agenda and influence national policy. He stressed the importance of involving people with disabilities directly, noting that decisions are too often made on their behalf without their presence.
