As Botswana Sector of Educators Trade Union, we stand deeply concerned and disheartened by the state of our education system under the leadership of the Minister of Child Welfare and Basic Education, Hon. Nono Kgafela Mokoka. It has been nearly a year since her appointment, yet there is little to show in terms of vision, reform, or progress in addressing the real challenges confronting teachers and learners.
